So most of you Aira fans must already heard the previews for Sayonara TECHNPOLiS single & Valentine STEP single. And you guys must also seen the Sayonara TECHNOPOLiS PV. Well, for those who haven't here I leave you with links to the PV & Previews.
In other news, the cover for Valentine STEP has been changed. (You would notice if you checked out the Preview Set # 4.) If you want to save the image for yourself, go ahead to the gallery or discography sections and you will find it there. (:
I almost forgot to mention! Aira was included in a V.A. titled "Teardrop" which includes two brand-new Aira songs. This V.A. was released in the 17th of December and the Aira tracks are #5 Senjou no Merry Christmas & #8 MIKE ALWAY`S DIARY. By one of the track names you can figure this is a Christmas-y V.A. Also by the title of the V.A., Teardrop you can also figure the songs are well, very touching. And in fact they are, it is a very great V.A. album.

In site news, I've made a huge update today adding tons of lyrics & I've changed the website design a little bit. I know it's not so WOW but I'm working on this site alone and I'm not so good with HTML by myself, and my graphic making skills aren't so awesome. Also I know I promised a domain, but NO ONE has offered to help and I seriously can't do this alone. It's not too late! You can go ahead to the "Contact Us" page and e-mail us saying why do you want to help and how would you do it. I don't want any "Oh cuz I luv Airaa!! Yesh and I wanna helpz writing stuffs". It's been announced that Aira Mitsuki is now coming up with a NEW SINGLE!!!
It's titled "サヨナラTECHNOPOLiS" which in romanji is "Sayonara TECHNOPOLiS" and translated, which obviously most of us know "Goodbye TECHNOPOLiS" It is set to be released on January 21, 2009.
Not much is known yet, just that it will include 3 new songs, 2 remixes, and of course as always their digital mp3 mastering versions. To a total of 10 tracks in this single. Yet another EP worthy single! Just like Robot Honey! Let's hope all her future singles are like this.

It's three pages long and it's quite well designed with some very pretty pictures of Aira integrated into the whole design of the interview. (Especially with the title headers which are placed on a laser beam which seems to have been fired from Aira's red visors!) It's worth a look even if it's all in Japanese - the pictures are worth it, haha.
It's got quite a few interesting tidbits - I didn't know this but Aira was being billeted as "Techno Pop Icon Aira Mitsuki" during her major debut, which I find quite interesting. She mentions Perfume and Nakata a couple of times during the interview too.
She also seems to recommend Boys Noize, a German electronic techno group and if I'm reading correctly, I think she idolises them or something. Also, Aira was meant to resemble Ultraman (?!) in the COPY visuals and she mentions Knight Rider and Michael Knight's name a couple of times in relation to the jacket of COPY.
On that note, Aira also mentions liking video games a lot and having a gameboy and a Super Famicon - and I think she says something about collecting all the Pokemon game versions or something close to that.

Technopop singer Aira Mitsuki announced via her blog that her long-awaited second single is to be released on March 5th, 2008. "China Discotica" will be her "major debut" single from D-topia Entertainment, a new subsidiary of D-topia. Currently Mitsuki's the only artist on the label, a business partnership between Victor Entertainment and avex group holdings.
From her official blog, January 8th, 2008:
On March 5th, it was decided that Aira Mitsuki from D-topia Entertainment will make her major debut release entitled 'China Discotica'! (*≧ω≦)人(＞ω＜☆)
Therefore, as an offer of thanks to China, and because of this year's Olympics (the festival of dreamgiving), the release has become a 'respect song' for the Beijing Olympics.
This song wasn't recorded only in Japan, it was also recorded in Beijing.
There was a bit of Chinese put into the song, so it has a China feel to it?? ヾ(・∀・)ツ
As for the sound, I think it's like the previous song's feel of discopunk and electro clash, everyone look forward to it. (*´∀｀*)
