Colorful Sounds

Aira Mitsuki is a techno-pop music artist that debuted with her first single "Colorful Tokyo Sounds NO.9" on August 8th 2007. She, like most of D-topia acts, is produced by Oonishi Terukado. And was labeled as "Techno Pop Icon Aira Mitsuki". On 2007 she was selected to be on MEGA TRANCE 2008 singer audition which she was chosen winner out of 6,325 participants! In January of 2008 she had her fist performance overseas in Beijing, China, as a guest performer in MTV's sponsoring preview, the nationwide club tour.

After her debut in her independent label in 2007 there has been a lot of offers from dance music scene in foreign countries because of her music genre. When in Beijing, she performed in many local media and has recorded new songs.

Aira Mitsuki continues to transform and aim at the icon of present progressive new rave scene.

On March 5, 2008 it was stated, that her major debut single "China Discotica" is a respect song to Beijing Olympics.

Darling Wondering Staring / STAR FRUITS SURF RIDER was a Tower Records exclusive release. It was released in extremely limited quantities and is considered an independent release from her label, D-topia. It reached #1 on Tower Records's store chart and sold out.

On September 3rd, 2008 her first and debut album "C.O.P.Y" was released in both, regular and limited edition. The single of the album is GALAXY BOY. The album also includes her three previous singles. This album had success, even though it didn't take her to the very top, but now she is more recognized than she was before. This album gave her a VERY futuristic look, which fans loved.

Before the album "C.O.P.Y" was released, it was announced that Aira will have a new single titled "Robot Honey" for release on October 29, 2008. Promo picture, and single jacket were released. Then later in mid-october the "Robot Honey" PV was released, showing a new look. The futuristic look was put on hold, and she was showing a normal more fashionable look.

She has in total released four singles. "Colorful Tokyo Sounds NO.9", "China Discotica", "Darling Wondering Staring / Star Fruits Surf Rider", and "Robot Honey". One album "C.O.P.Y" and has recorded a total of four music videos for the songs "Colorful Tokyo Sounds NO.9", "China Discotica", "GALAXY BOY", and "Robot Honey".

Aira has also made two cover songs, one for Cascada's Every Time We Touch, and Genki Rockets' Heavenly Star. These cover songs were released in CD-R format and were given out at Aira's live performances during 2007. (Alongside with her D-topia sister, Saori@destiny which was giving out CD-R's of Destiny's Wars.) Which now they are considered very rare, and often are being auctioned online.
